Batteries for these applications must be particularly cyclically resistant. In addition to the special requirements of the vehicle to be driven, the individual load plays an important role in the composition of the suitable battery solution. Your choice also depends on whether the machines have rest periods or are constantly used using replacement batteries. The criteria for the right charging technology are voltage, amperage, charging curve and charging time.
Autobat offers 2V traction batteries from the brands Hawker, Enersys and its own private label Autobat-Industrial.
Hawker

Hawker's Perfect Plus series, with liquid electrolyte, offers increased reliability and longer service life for all industrial applications.
The Hawker Water Less series, with liquid electrolyte, is similar to the Perfect Plus, but is more flexible and less time-consuming thanks to the longer refill intervals of 4, 8 or 13 weeks depending on the charging technology. Less water refilling – more benefits.
Enersys
Enersys, another flagship of Autobat's lineup, is known for its innovative approach to energy storage. These batteries are designed with advanced technologies to maximize efficiency and reliability. Enersys batteries are commonly used in a variety of applications, from passenger cars to heavy-duty vehicles. What sets Enersys apart is their focus on sustainability and eco-friendliness.
The Enersys Nexsys battery is a fully sealed, maintenance-free traction battery with VRLA technology. This battery is characterized by an extremely low internal resistance and provides considerable energy and power, especially at high discharge currents. What makes this battery extra special is the fact that there is no need for forced ventilation and there is no need for enclosed spaces while charging. The Nexsys battery is suitable for intermediate charges and can be recharged even in a partially discharged state. It is possible to charge the battery as often as needed, making it permanently usable, ideal for multi-shift systems. In addition, all traditional lead-acid models can be directly replaced with a Nexsys variant.

This battery is infused with the proven Enersys technology, which uses square tubes for increased permanent operating voltages. This results in more reliability, higher productivity, greater capacity and an extended service life. Regardless of the drive energy intensity your application requires, the Ironclad is up to the challenge. It offers less maintenance and lower operating costs, resulting in maximum runtime. The Ironclad is also equipped with a Wi-iQ module, which collects all the essential data from the battery, including voltage, current, temperature, capacity, and more.

To complete the range of 2V traction batteries, we offer our own private label Autobat-Industrial. These batteries allow us to provide the most efficient solutions for our customers' industrial needs. Ranging from battery solutions for electric forklifts to electric truck pallets, industrial cleaning machines, and so much more! For many years, we have been working with manufacturers who put high-quality product standards first. The connectors are made of thermoplastic rubber, acid-resistant, flexible, easy to install and/or replace. The screws are equipped with insulated plastic heads and the steel case is provided with plastic powder coating, which provides high protection against corrosion. In addition, technical support and after-sales service is a hugely important pillar at Autobat.
Autobat-Industrial consists of 3 series.
The most common 2V traction cells belong to the PZS series (Din cell, 198mm wide) and PZB series (British Standard, 158mm wide). Both series are lead-acid batteries with liquid electrolyte. An excellent solution with positive tubular plates for heavy-duty applications, offering high performance, reliability, low maintenance and long service life. The PZV series are 2V maintenance-free gel cells. These closed and maintenance-free 2V gel cells no longer need to be refilled with demineralized water and can no longer leak. These are mainly used in internal applications or in the medical and chemical sectors.
